Lets talk Emily 1st. Welp Emily is almost 3, yes 3 :( and we are about to start fully planning her birthday party. We are doing a kids party of swimming at my place of work, which is a hotel. Very excited to get that going b/c I make the kids' invites myself each year which I'm glad I take the little bit of time I have to do so. I'll be happy to look back and tell them I did em. Emily just recently became fully potty trained as well. She is officially a BIG GIRL in panties all the time now. YAY!! In her 1st month-ish she's only had 1 accident and she knew it wasn't right. I'm sure their will be many more to come, but all and all once she finally just did it, it's been super easy. We decided to sign her up for school next fall. While she is still only going to be 3 going on 4 the school she will be attending lets 3 year olds come for 1/2 days. It's the same elementary I went too as well as my mom so that will be really neat. It's not a regular elementary school anymore, but a Montessori one. I'll be going to look in on a class to check it out, but Kayla my 5 year old niece goes their and Becca speaks highly of it. Starting her at 3 will be the easiest b/c putting her on the list to start at 4 will be harder to get her in. As a 3 year old she'll already have a spot in the school where as starting her at 4 they'll only have spots for those few that leave to go to the 5 year olds..Make sense? So that should be fun for her. The terrible 2's or 3's people talk about, she definitely got a bad case of. She is very trying at times and while we in the heat of the moment forget she is little, we will step back and breath and remember that...but it's REALLY hard sometimes LOL!!! Either way she's tons of fun and just such a big girl.
Okay Edisyn's turn. Our little Edi is 1.5 and that make us sad all the time. Emily was this age when Edisyn was born so it's kinda hard on us (more so ME) that there isn't another baby coming, YET(hehe). But we are enjoying these 2 for a while. She is a tiny tot. She went to the doctor last week and diaper, clothes, and coat she weighed in at 20lbs. Little thang she is. She had a rash that started here and then went there and eventually she had to go to the dermatologist to have it looked at. It ended up being all viral and nothing much we can do but let it work it's course. 5 days since then it's almost already gone. Lets hope it stays gone b/c she started itching and then I had to drug her, which I hate. So we've talked and decided she is going to be our trouble maker. She is quiet and sneaky to no end. Yes she is all innocents when you look at her, but look deep into her eyes and she is so devilish. HAHA...She is talking more finally. Nothing that was a problem, but for us Emily was talking sentences by now and Edisyn was barley saying a word. we always have to remind ourselves that all kids learn at different paces. Anyways her fav thing to say is NO unless you ask her if she wants to eat or take a shower. She loves showers with mamma. Oh and eating, she won't pass a meal up even if she just ate. That's why we can't figure out how she is so dang tiny.?. :) Growing everyday and learning more and more is where we are at with her. Fun Fun. At least with Emily we'll be prepared as Edisyn grows on what to expect now. We are BRACING ourselves. :)
What about Jeff & I? Well pretty much on the go go go lately. I've been working ALOT and being a server in the pub on home football games to help make a little extra cash, plus they needed the help, so Megan to the rescue. With one more home game left it was way worth it, but I'm glad it's going to be over with. I've missed that time with my family and some events I can't get back, but you gotta do what ya gotta do, right? And poor Jeffy being a single daddy for those weekends while I work and nap to catch up...THANKS!!! Now the crazy busy winter season of Christmas and lets see, not one or two, but yes SIX birthday's in the next 2 1/2 months and that's NOT including the adults either...YIKES!! Who am I kidding?, I love to be busy and stay busy with things to do. Jeff is a work-a-holic right now. Tis the season of tires. We can't complain b/c it as well brings in extra money for the holidays and millions of birthdays we have :) He hates it and I love it. HAHA!! While we have tons to complain about we should feel blessed. We both still have jobs for now and we are all healthy, so we are thankful for that.
